Lorraine Dilmore creates one-of-a-kind, wheel-thrown high-fired stoneware. Each piece is decorated with designs applied with the sumi-e brush technique or by cutting into the clay for a textured design.

Her studio is situated on 40 acres of woods, pastures, and gardens in the seacoast town of Hampton Falls, NH.  Her gallery is in a 150 year-old barn on Dilmore Lane that she converted into a studio in 1974. The peacefulness and beauty of the gardens, woods, ponds, trails, and natural setting is reflected in her work.

Lorraine's pottery can be viewed at her Gallery by appointment. Several times each year, Lorraine holds Open Studio days where her clientelle can come to her converted barn and view her new work in the studio. Call for an appointment: 603-926-3343. It's a pleasant way to shop and a great escape from the crowds. Her barn/gallery is warm, cozy, and resplendent with decorations and refreshments. Visa and Mastercard are accepted.

Lorraine's HOLIDAY OPEN STUDIO will be Saturday and Sunday December 8-9 from 10 AM to 4 PM. We look forward to seeing all of our valued customers and new friends, too. The Studio is located in the renovated 150 year-old barn at the end of Dilmore Lane. Don't forget the carrots for the draft horse, Wellington!

Her work has been featured on the PBS series Ciao Italia with Mary Ann Esposito and is found in select League of NH Craftsmen Galleries throughout New Hampshire. She has been featured on Public Television, NH Magazine, and Accent Magazine. Her holiday ornament adorned the first Clinton White House Christmas tree.  Her work is also featured at Canterbury Shaker Village and Exeter Fine Crafts. She created the Exeter Fine Crafts annual ornament this year.

Thank you for visiting Lorraine's website.  And call ahead for a visit to the Gallery (603-926-3343) when you're in seacoast NH.
